On 11 March round 2 of the Irish Circuit took place in Ballymena with a total of 18 players taking part.
We gathered at Ballymena golf club on what had been a cold few days with snow on the ground.
The main competition consisted of 17 players (3 groups of 4 and a group of 5) with the top 2 from each group contesting the main prize and the remainder fighting out the plate competition.
In a rematch of round one in Donegal Mark Farrell saw off Kenny Beggs in a close final. These games are getting very close as 3 semi finals and the 2 finals went to shots to decide the outcome. In the Plate Derry's Dee Jenkins beat Donal Convery with Daniel seeing off Elliott to clinch the Junior competition.

Once again we were treated to a great venue and an excellent attendance. Many thanks to Kenny Beggs and Barry Spence for doing the graft in organising the competition.
